New Surfing World - South Coast Issue

Back in April i was lucky enough to get the call up from Vaughan at SW and invited to come along and shoot a combined effort in a full issue of SW on the south coast.

The trip had everything from floods and landslides to one foot onshores then 10 foot offshores.

It should be a pretty amazing mag, shot all within 14 days - out this week.

Surfing mag usa // by many is said to be the best surf magazine on the planet. And i tend to agree, mainly due to colour reproduction, layout/design and photo selection. About a month ago i was lucky enough to shoot with Ace Buchan for the first time, this was actually the first wave i ever shot of him - and ended up being one of my favorite all time images. Cheers to PT, VB, ace, MR, surfing mag, SW, Hurley and the ocean - im amped. r

The Tracks 2010 photo annual, in a new landscape format hits the shelves today, and i am pleased to have been given the cover. Brett Bircher in a 6am outer-reef backlit pit with flash, we worked our asses off to get this image for months and to finally have it on a cover, let alone the annual is very satisfying. Thanks once again to the boys at tracks. 2010 just keeps getting better. yeee heee!!

Its been 5 years at least since ive given the fellas at riptide an image, but its been a worthy wait.
This invert to air reverse dallas boosts, is probably the biggest air ive shot. Shooting guys like dallas is a pleasure, whom can launch so clean and have a good make percentage. This combined with the our water shot from last month is pretty much as good as it gets at boxy, J O B D O N E. A nice way to wrap up 2010.
